I remember watching him winning the gold back in 2000 and thinking this is one of the most talented boxers I've ever seen and of course the usual what a shame we probably won't see him as a pro.
4 years later he still won easily but it was more like seeing someone who now was "just" a great amateur, playing it safe and exploiting the silly scoring rules. There was less raw talent but more polished amateur boxing.
But yeah very very smooth.
I still haven't seen him fight as a pro. He is 28 so hopefully they're not moving him too slow. With Casamayor they took 4 years before he was fighting for titles. No time for that with Rigondeaux!
