Well if Vasco beats Cruzeiro we could all have a shot at advancing in the last match day, if Vasco doesn't win then we are in great shape for the Sudamericana spot.
I only see us getting destroyed again in Argentina tbh.

went to the final on Sunday. I’m now 0-2 watching Toluca in finals (saw Xolos beat us at home too in 2012).

atmosphere at the bombonera was the best I have ever seen it. was special being there so don’t regret the 1 day trip.

Most tilting part was that I found out what hotel Toluca was staying at after I got there and it was one of two I was debating going with but I went with the other one 🤦🏽*♂️

Santos was the better team, deserving Liga MX champ.

Also, GIOVINCO to Tigres??? needs to happen, kid is being wasted in the MLS

Was gonna go to Toluca (I'm in CDMX now), but tickets sold out super fast and I didn't care enough to deal with secondary markets.

Gio to Tigres seems extremely unlikely, his salary is like 50% higher than the highest Liga MX salary and he's getting up there in age. Luuk de Jong to América seems like it has legs and would be a huge signing for them. I got sick of seeing Orrible not scoring goals. Think he has a 15 or 16 game goalless drought going. Send his useless ass to Atlas.

Don't know a ton about South American football, but that looks like a pretty fun field packed with giants. Not sure if matches are broadcast in Mexico, but if so I'll try to catch as many as possible.

Thread been dead but Libertadores semis going to be lit

River, Boca, Palmeiras and Gremio barring something crazy. Get in! Cant wait

For some reason in México they don't show any Copa Lib. matches on Fox/ESPN which is frustrating. They'll even show tons of random mid-level Euro leagues, but not CL. Gonna try to watch a few matches on stream since it doesn't get much better than those 4 in the Americas.

I am back in Brazil and ready for BRAZIL vs LOLARGENTINA semis

Mostly I want River to lose. Am ok with other outcomes. Boca is my Argentina league team.

Cruzeiro won the Copa do Brasil last night.

How big is Copa Sudamericana? I'm gonna be in Colombia from Nov. 15 until mid-December and might try to check out a match. Do teams take it pretty seriously?

Seems like it runs really late in the season. A Colombian team is guaranteed to host a 2nd leg semifinal in late November and a strong possibility a Colombian team will host the 2nd leg of the final in mid-December. Would love to go to the final if it's feasible.

I was in Medellin two years ago for the final of Libertadores. Tried to go but the only ticket I could even find was quoted at $600 USD iirc
