Any expected fireworks this window?

Man Utd are being linked to a buncha CB's. Time to panic buy their way into the reach of a top 4 finish with Koulibaly and Alderweireld?

Ajax stars Frenkie de Jong and fresh Golden Boy winner De Ligt are being non stop linked to every big club around (Barca, City, PSG for FdJ, Barca, Juve, Bayern among others for MdL).

What other action can we expect? Who needs who? Who wants what?

I hope we panic buy 2 cb, 1 rwb, 1 lwb or at least a rw. And a new mattress for Özils back.

#DREAMWINTER: Eric Bailly, some random german/french/spanish 20y old cb on the cheap and Nicolas Pepe (mostly because of the name and us not having any decent wingers).

Agree we're unlikely to be active but if it's true Woodwood has been in contact with Mitchell already he might suggest/approve some signings for January even if he hadn't officially started working for the club.

RMC reporting we close to Abdoulaye Doucouré. I'd snap him if we're on a tight budget this winter, no idea how he didn't go to a better club than Watford when he left Rennes.

I'd be quite happy with Bailly. But we need bodies right now...beggars can't be choosers. He's definitely got the skillset to be a really excellent CB.

Who else is out there that we could actually get? Maybe Pavard or Ginter? Names like de Ligt or even Skriniar are probably somewhere between marginally and waayyy the **** out of our league/price range.

I can't see us selling Bailly now, at least not in January.

I doubt we sell anyone midseason, unless someone wants to give us a couple of mil for the privilege of treating whatever ails Phil "2nd coming of Duncan Edwards" Jones, since he only has 6 months left on his contract.
