The Ibra story is probably true and sounds like the news has been leaked by Woodward/TSO since it's being presented with the narrative of "United were made aware of the chance to sign Jamie Vardy but choose not to because they didn't want to hault the development of Marcus Rashford, Jose Mourinho wants to stick to the clubs traditions of promoting youth players"

He's played like 30 more league games than Dele Alli though. 29 just isn't old for him considering how many league games he has played, and his lack of injuries.

I'd be more worried about his modest goal return two seasons ago than his age, and whether he fits into Arsenal's system. I reckon they will get 4 prime years out of him, so £20m quid is fairly modest.

I can see him being a flop at a lot of big clubs who won't change the way they play to incorporate him.

You've seen in the England matches, if he plays out of position, or without the right delivery system, he doesn't make much of an impact.

He's still a decent enough striker, and has an insane workrate, but he's not worth big money if you're playing him all wrong.

I really hope he stays at Leicester for another season. He did only just sign a new contract, but supposedly Arse are offering twice the wage.

I personally don't believe the vardy speculation one bit. I think it's agent driven, trying to push for another new contract and more cheese before vardy's form falls of a cliff. Def do not want as he's suited perfectly to Leicester's system were he has acres of room to run into. He would never be able to lead the line at arsenal where in and around the opposition box is flooded with numbers.

80k isn't much nowadays, plus he's what 29? Vardy and his agent know where are Leicester going to get a replacement for 20mil with such an inflated market for team in tblitw. Perfect leverage to push stories to create leverage for a massive bumper deal. Apparently the clause is only activated by champs league teams which would rule out being able to use Chelsea and Manure who are seeking new strikers as possible destinations. Pep and Spurs definitely ain't gonna spunk up for him. Basically were the only team that could be linked with him and that's what his crafty agent is doing imo and good luck to them.
