imo mahrez hasn't been all that over the last 4 games or so (altho has scored twice), but some of his early to mid season work was out of this world. also that ridic game at the emptihad.

Bein reporting that Dembele to Bayern has been agreed, with the kid being loaned next season to Rennes. Bein has been wrong before but not quite as much as L'équipe.

id take mahrez @ ac milan but yeah would prefer to just use munir due to OFF-BALL SKILLZ

also pretty sure its only the 2nd tier "big teams" like chelsea or man utd that would bid for mahrez, he's a pretty clear downgrade for the big 4

Rennes would be stupid to sign a deal without first seeing what teams from tblitw have to offer.

30M+ for an 18 year old qualify as obscene. Martial going for 80 was like the stars aligning, doubt you can plan that kind of stuff. Rennes are far from a lock to give him CL exposure next season to begin with.

We supposedly have an option (on Lanzini) and people seem to think it's all but done at £7.5m.

That's the advantage of the loan with the option to buy. The options are often essentially free, and giving free options is a bad idea in any line of business.

Not us hopefully. Been decidedly unimpressed with Mane this season. LvG should be a goner anyway, so I doubt we follow up on whatever interest we may have had last summer.

It depends how much you value the loan at. If you think the loan is worth 7 then you are still getting a free option.

Oh yeah, he's not very good. Definitely worth the £10m or whatever we paid for him but if we can get a good few seasons out of him and sell him for a decent profit I'll be delighted. Wanyama is out of contract at the end of 2017 too so I'll expect we'll sell him too.

I like that. Payet and lanzin can dribble from outside inside and this way wijn can be a runner into the box Lampard style .... he can get away with his skillet having those guys distribute for him.

Wijnaldum would be really important in transition offense. He's got a very good ability to beat teams pressing him. West Ham need a striker upgrade I would imagine. They could be a devastating transition team much in the way Leicester are if they add the right pieces. Payer + lanzini running at defenders in open field could be pretty deadly if they have the right person up front. Who that player is I have no idea.
