Gotze for 20m is great value but is he really a priority when you already have Lallana/Coutinho/Firmino who all prefer the 10 role? Liverpool need natural wide players.

He was bit on the chubby side, when he played for us as well. Given the price I think most PL sides should look into him. FWIW 20 million Euro were rumoured. I think 25 is where it'll end up, mostly because Götze can just stay the year and leave on a free as his contract is solid for him.
Even though the market has changed quite a bit Kroos moved for 30 million Euros with a year left and is the upper cap for me. Kroos is a better player than Götze without a doubt (imo). All of that make the 25 million Euro ballpark realistic (even though it only takes one fool etc.)

At 25 million Euro he should be on most PL team radars. Bloke is only 23 with CL and WC winning experience. Unfortunately he hasn't played much recently and I think he would suffer a lot in the PL due to the number of games given his injury history so he would need to be managed really well and I wouldn't count on him as a 100% of games type of player from the start.

I hope no PL teams show serious interest and we can snatch him up.

Miki is very likely his agent getting teams involved and maxing out on what he'll make here. I think we'll resign him to a contract that'll be fairly huge for us but good enough for him not to entertain other offers.
PL could tempt him though. Juve was also rumoured but they have been fairly thrifty with their contracts/fees (see Draxler negotiations) so I feel we can offer the better package.

I'd rather not see him leave since I have been a believer from day1. If he leaves it'll be for a solid fee for 1 year contract and his age though (I think).

I think:
Gündogan -> 5% to resign
Miki -> 70% to resign
Hummels -> 70% to resign
Schmelzer -> 80% to resign
Götze -> 30% to move to us this summer

Maybe a bit optimistic. Keeping Hummels and Miki are big priorities though. I feel Hummels can be kept as long as our outlook is interesting for him. He's very tempted by the last chance to move to another country. Don't think a million or so in wages makes a huge difference and it mostly comes down to how hungry he is to win titles under Tuchel...which means another another domino has to fall in our favour (Miki resign, miracle Gündo resign, Götze transfer) and then I'd feel fairly good about resigning him as long as another domino doesn't fall in the wrong direction in between (Gündo leaving is neutral as that's assumed to happen) :P
tl;dr: Resign another guy or get Götze done -> offer Hummels competitive wages and resign him and we're golden.

Subotic is likely to leave, I'm fine with that as I prefer Sokratis. We're also supposedly interested in Süle from Hoffenheim. I'd like to sign him a lot but that's only happening if Subotic leaves. If Hummels leaves we'll try to get him as well and maybe try to keep Subotic.
