Australia losing takes away a little bit of room for error, but should still cruise through one would hope as either group winner or one of the best four runner ups.

-------------------

CONMEBOL qualifiers are on today as well.
10-08-2015 , 07:14 PM
Chile vs Brazil starting soon. Chile should dominate and win easily because they are better. Strange times...
10-08-2015 , 09:25 PM
Yep pretty comfortable Chile 2-0 win. Dunga is the nut low btw.
10-08-2015 , 09:29 PM
Our first half was awful but after the first change we were better. Lol Brazil at conceding a set piece.
10-08-2015 , 09:53 PM
LOL Messi-less Argentina lost at home 2-0 to Ecuador. These qualifiers will be interesting...
10-08-2015 , 11:04 PM
South America qualifiers going to be real good. I didn't realize Neymar, Thiago Silva, AND David Luiz were all hurt. Venezuela at home could be ultimate meltdown mode.

But why the hell are they bringing on two bums from Santos to play up top with the game on the line? ****ing Brazil doesn't have anyone better? This clown Dunga doesn't think Coutinho is better than Lucas Lima, old ass Roberto Olivero or whatever and some dude named Allison(he may be a GK don't know)?

Actually none of them were.
Neymar suspended because of his hissy fit during Copa America
David Luiz got injured during the game today
Thiago Silva not called because Dunga doesn't think he is good enough for the NT

Yea that's mostly the aforementioned LOL Dunga.

Coutinho got called but had to be cut due to some mysterious injury

He had Kaka and Lucas Moura on the bench though

Kaka is like 80 years old right? Calling in an old MLS dude might have been the only thing more LOL than bringing on an old Brazilian league dude.

Coutinho mystery injury the Klopp obv.

Forgot about Neymar's suspension. How much longer does he have? I went to the Brazil v. Costa Rica friendly. That Lucas Lima dude is horrendous. Douglas Costa has never looked good in a Brazil shirt either. Oscar looks like part of the Chelsea AIDS and Hulk never really was that good. Only hope is Willian while Neymar is hurt.

Fernandinho is better than Elia, who also sucks too, and Luis Gustavo. Is the other City Fern no longer good enough for Brazil? What about Firmino? He looked real ****ty in the Copa America, but again, look at that bench. As a Liverpool fan I hope he's at least better than some of those dudes.

Could legit see them dropping points at home to Venezuela with no Neymar

Alexis Sanchez might be my favourite player in the world apart from Suarez. Absolute warrior with immense skill and pace.

Brazil brutal under Dunga. Positioning rigid and not playing between lines, fullbacks end up having to constantly pass the ball back for lack of passing options. Team doesn't shift over when play is on one side. Only attacking threat is crossing to a lone striker against 3 cb's. They need to drop the double volantes and play Oscar or Coutinho in central midfield to get some passing happening.

Time to take a nausea medicine to try to sit thru Brazil x Venezuela.
10-13-2015 , 09:42 PM
Oscar is the biggest fraud ever. So tired of him.

Willian on the other hand is awesome. I understand that he needs to put up more scorepoints but he is so comfortable on the ball and have great vision, really like watching him play.Has he ever played as a deep lying playmaker for Chelsea, I feel like he could be great in that position.

And of course LOL Dunga started 35 year old Ricardo Oliveira. No comment. But to be fair Dunga is not even a real coach so we shouldn't expect too much from him.

Willian is the only good player Brazil has right now. Can't believe how bad they are.

And LOL Argentina keep wasting their golden generation.

Good luck with tickets. I lived in Peru for a year and the ticket getting system was so archaic. Wait in line at supermarket at an unannounced date and time. They would announce like the morning of that tickets were going on sale in 2 hours. The line was over 10 blocks long. Basically if you work it's impossible to get legit tickets. I'm sure if you know the right people you can make it happen.

I lived 6 blocks from the stadium so I went the day before the game and they were going for $350+ US for the ****tiest seats. Some tabloid got my picture talking to a scalper and was in the Lima paper the next day with an article on how out of control scalping was

**** Ricardo Oliveira scored. That's the worst thing that could happen.
