FIFA said in a letter to the Argentine Football Association (AFA), published by Argentine media, that the incident was not detailed in the referee's report at the time and was brought to their attention by the media.
good job refs

so Argentina is 2 points ahead of 6th, 4 points ahead of 7th with 5 games left to play and no Messi for 4 of them, there's a very good chance they miss the world cup

Nah, you're overreacting. The remaining games include home matches vs Venezuela and Peru. Messi will be back for the last game at Ecuador. They'll qualify comfortably. They don't suffer from messidependencia anyway.

Are you sure?
This WCQ's:
They have 7 pts in 7 games without Messi
They have 15 pts in 6 games with Messi

twitter is saying angel correa is starting instead which sounds insane. there must be 25 better argentinian forwards. did dybala miss the plane?

Eh, you might be right. Not too sure anymore. I thought a team with Higuain/Dybala/Aguero/DiMaria/Correa would've coped better.

They are rubbish when Messi isn't playing. He completely and utterly transforms the team because he's that good.
03-28-2017 , 02:47 PM
why is iniesta playing midweek friendlies? this system so rigged
03-28-2017 , 02:51 PM
came up short everytime it mattered, he's useless, he lost 4 finals with Argentina. he should watch his whore mouth, these are not UEFA refs, they're not paid by Barcelona to be his slaves.

He should take example from God, this is how it's done

03-28-2017 , 02:52 PM

that team should be much better without Messi than they are, that has little to do with him

i remember tired old man ronaldo being too slow to get out of the way of a lightly jogging fatty payet in the most important game of his life.
03-28-2017 , 03:21 PM
yeah, tired old man Ronaldo really needs to improve on his big game/national team performances

in more important news: turns out a midfield of Danilo, Renato Sanches, Bernardo Silva and Gelson is really ****ing good. Cruising past Sweden

He did something that Messi will never, ever do for his NT. What's even worse is Messi's attitude on and off the pitch. Crying like a beetch then quitting the NT team because he's not good enough, banning the press because they're not praising them, now getting banned like this. Old man Ronaldo got the job done, against all odds. Messi didn't, with everything in his favour.

the truth bothering you huh old fart?

I like RITS's rustling game. I'd like to say it's second to none, but then it's second to mine. Still, second behind Der Führer of Sporting Events is pretty good.

Thx, made a small bet as soon as I read this. Was looking for something to bet on today.

Just curious - what language do FIFA refs use in south american tournaments? Is it Spanish or English? Does Brazil's participation change things?

LOL Argentina indeed, they were awful. I hadn't even heard of a few of their players. They seriously can't do better than some 27 y/o CM playing in mehico? Also wtf is Lucas Pratto?
03-28-2017 , 06:12 PM
Alexis crushing, sick goal from a free kick and an assist in 6 minutes. Get that man away from arsewil asap.
