because we are good enough to keep possession, unlike USA, we are going to bossing Brazil around and it's really going to look more like a 352 formation. don't you worry, we are going to deliver.
My understanding is that Cruizn is an American citizen with very strong ties to Mexico based upon his heritage and descent, which is fine (my family is Italian, I also pull for Italy to some degree because of my Grandparents). Nothing wrong with PASSION for Mexico.
The part that gets weird is he truly HATES U.S. soccer, which I don't understand because U.S. soccer is fairly benign politically / culturally and you'd think he'd express apathy rather than loathing at his own country's squad, and I do doubt that his U.S. hatred is thoroughgoing enough that it transcends sport into a set of anti-American values.
He is, of course, invited to inform me of my mistake.

The only mistake is that he hasn't moved out of the best country in the world yet
we may see the first team advance to the KO stages in this group tomorrow. This will happen in the following cases:
1- Brazil wins and Cameroon-Croatia is a draw (Brazil through)
2- Mexico wins and Cameroon-Croatia is a draw (Mexico through)
3- Brazil wins and Croatia wins (Brazil through)
4- Mexico wins and Cameroon wins (Mexico through)
In for Mexico ftw just to be contrarian but for the record I think Brazil will win 3-1. Regardless, isn't it American to root for underdog? And upsets are exciting. Either way, hope it's a good one
