Having the world cup here in 2018 would be awesome, the euro was already insane. Also, I don't know where you got those lines but Portugal/Spain are the favorites for 2018, it even caused some problems with the Russians, you can read/see their comments online.

I think its something to do with Putin not travelling to the Vote tommorrow, they've been saying for a month or two that if he doesn't go, it means he "knows" they wont win, so the drift in Russian price has forced the england price in.

i'm actually not that fussed really. i was pissed that we got the olympics, if only because it'd involve spending a ****load of public money, at least with this bid most of the infrastructure is already there. still, i don't really want it as the pigs will go from close to busto to having central money going to improve the sty
