An extra time defeat in the last WorldCup final left Argentinian fans wondering what they need to do to win the big one. Turns out it's harder to win when you don't cheat. With the advent of video replays in WorldCup 2018, Argentina are ****ed. Still, Messi is always worth watching.
Star player: Lionel Messi
Croatia
Sporters of the best kit in the WorldCup, Croatia's excellent midfield and all around strength could see them through to the Quarter Finals.
Star player: Luka Modrić
Iceland
Everyone's second team - Iceland has more volcanoes that professional footballers. Most famous for getting extremely lucky in the final 16 of Euro 2016 - Iceland are actually pretty good!
Star player: Gylfi Sigurðsson
Nigeria
One of only two sub-saharan African nations to qualify, Nigeria's strong attack and weak defence could make for some fun games.

here's the thing about victor moses, he was a wigan player but basically everyone and their mum knew he was off to chelsea and it was a matter of time before the details were ironed out
problem: wigan play chelsea just before the window shuts and his transfer isn't done yet
its pretty standard for players about to be transferred to say ohh im not in the right frame of mind to play blah blah and not play. and its fair enough, what if you get injured and your dream move is off
ESPECIALLY fair enough if you're due to face your soon to be new club. what if you injure one of your new team mates? what if you score a suspicious looking own goal?
lotta potential pitfalls. but BIG VIC was like nah **** that i'm playing, and he did, and he was the best player on the pitch, and then he transferred the next day
