There's so much wrong in that post, but I'll kick off with the bolded.
Appealing to the ref is a pointless exercise. It's not the ref who decides if something is to be reviewed. It's down to the VAR team.
The only sport in which you actually have to appeal to the official is cricket, in the case of LBWs, obstruction or catches. If a batsman is plum LBW but nobody from the fielding side appeals, it's not out.
