Had a look at the Kits... (slideshow of all known ones is here)

It's a pretty good year imo, but it depends what you make of Adidas' retro trip. I quite like them, esp Colombia, Spain and Argentina. The non-retro ones are typical Adidas, some solid, some boring.

Nike seems to be going for the classic look mostly with England, Poland, Croatia (hard to mess up) and Portugal, France has...interesting sleeves which look awful to me but it's a matter of taste I guess. Some of the smaller nations have flashier kits, esp Nigeria (Aussies and Koreans to a lesser extent).

Uruguay seems to be using the sames kits they've had in 2010 and 2014.

My least favourite kits are probably Egypt, Iran and Tunisia (super boring), I probably like the Mexican and Serbian whites best

Probably already been mentioned but there's a competition on BetStars where you can predict every result in the World Cup. if you get them all correct you get $100 million. It's free to enter so might as well. Would be interesting to see if Stars would try to buy out if someone got to the last 16 or quarters.

I sadly won't have time to do proper threads anyway, as I'll be in LÖL Italy up until the 9th and probably drowning in work the week after

Germans shouldn't make jokes about themselves being the Führer. It's too soon still.

We're just one Suarez injury from Saudi Arabia being favourites to make the knockout stages, what a time to be alive

Yuck. So a Latin-American track for a Russia World Cup with four artists from countries that didn't make the World Cup. Not sure what they were thinking

Outcome. You have to pick win, lose or draw for group stages and who goes through to the next round in the knockout stages.

Odds of getting that right are like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000/1

Its a nice bit of a PR but their money is safe as houses.

That being said I think they still have prices for whoever does the best so is probably still worth entering

That's not what I'm talking about. That series was awful.
The History Channel are showing all kinds of World Cup stuff. Some new, some old, for example each night they are showing one of the official FIFA films of a World Cup. (1970 last night, 74 tonight)
Also on tonight is the 'One Night in Turin' documentary about 1990.
Each night they also have a head to head debate with Mattheus, Zola, Giggs and others judging. Last night was Beckham v Bale, tonight is Zidane v Platini.

I'm pretty much going to be watching nothing but this and WSOP streams until the World Cup starts.
