I made a couple degen bets for the World Cup and I'm trying to find the following numbers heading into the final 2 games on Saturday and Sunday.

1) Total number of header goals in the tournament, so far.
2) Total number of red cards in the tournament, so far.

I guess I can go game by game and try to count the number of red cards, but have no idea where I can look for 'header goals'.

Thanks for any info..

It'll be fun to look back at this once the WC is over.

wonder what the odds of betting croatia to reach the finals were at that point.

That's great..thank you..the O/U was 10.5 and I had the Under.

I'll try to find the 'header goals' somewhere, the O/U was 29.5.

Total Goals O/U was 154.5, and right now it is 161..easy over..

On June 27th, the day after they won their group, you could still get them for 12-1 or 13-1 (depending on the book).

I'll assume the demand for EPL is much higher than the other leagues--like they show El Clasico on multiple channels but not many other games.

Croatia are an underdog to qualify for 2022 right? FIFA should re-implement the "Holders qualify automatically" rule (I'm opposed to doing it specifically to advantage Croatia but it's the right thing on principle).

Lol at having the hosts qualify automatically but not the previous winner

No reallly, the host being auto qualified is better because the buzz of the home country hosting it generally makes the atmosphere in the grounds better.

You then also have South Africa, Russia, Qatar, South Korea etc qualifying and it can change the game in the country.

They changed the champs no longer auto qualified because it would mean no competitive games for them for a longer stretch - plus generally if you win the World Cup you really should be getting out of qualification add to that the last 3 out of 4 World Cup winners have gone out in the group stage.

this is a terrible take, the WC is always better when the host country makes a deep run, especially when they are big underdogs like russia was this year.

and international soccer changes so much every 4 years that being defending champs is not that relevant. Spain was terrible in 2014, Germany was terrible this year. Will anyone really care or notice if a mediocre Croatia side without Modric or Rakitic is missing from Qatar? I wont.

I'd rather watch Qatar play in front of their home crowd than Saudi Arabia or Iran or whatever other drawing dead middle eastern country they are taking the place of.
