So. The reality is that Brazil team wasn’t great. Not a single dominating performance, a clown coach and they lost their best player. I’d defer to the Brazilians ITT but losing to Germany 7-1 in the semis likely was a better result than losing to Argentina in the final by any score.

Yes I’d take losing 7-1 to Germany over losing to Argentina in the final any day.

But tbf that’s about the only thing worse than losing 7-1 at home lol

Brazil lost the 2 best players. Neymar and Silva. And we played an attacking line of Bernard, Fred and Hulk. Germany really was about 7 times better than us that day.

And as absurd a score as 7-1 is I am pretty sure the Germans could have scored more if they wanted. They were nice enough to slow down when they brought our ev down to 0.
Because 7-1 is absurd but something like 11-0 would be something unheard of.

So obviously losing to Argentina in any final let alone at home is the worst. But other than that, which is considered worse, Germany loss or losing in 50 to Uruguay in the final in front of 211,000 at Maracanã?

B. Portugal really struggles to break down both Iran and Morocco tough defences but ultimately make it. Spain cruises.
C. Perú surprises everybody by being really good and technical. France has a game in which they play incredible football and win 5-0 while they also have another game in which they are complete AIDS. Whoever gets to play the AIDS version of France advances with them.
D. Nigeria front line is too good for the lol uefa teams. Messi owns everybody, the GOAT thread gets bumped.
E. Brazil and Switzerland goes through, Brazil is really good and destoys everybody. Switezerland win their games but nobody cares because they are a boring neutral country. We dont even watch the highlights of their non Brazil games, just the scores.
F. Germany is really good and destroys everybody. Sweden fold to lol Mexico, everybody retrospectively realizes just how awful Holland and Italy were in qualyfing.
G. England win the group, their fans get excited.
H. Colombia and Senegal go through. Europeans are confused, werent Poland supposed to be good?

Portugal beats Uruguay after some goating by Cronaldo, Suarez gets sent off and gets 6 match ban.

Spain beat Egypt , Salah great season which includes premier league golden boot and Cl winners medal is over.

France beats Nigeria.

Messi cruises against whoever had the luck of playing France when they were Aids.

Brazil beats Mexico after a controversial late penalty, 2+2 explodes

Germany beat Switzerland in a completely predictable boring game.

England fail to show the same form they show in the group against Senegal and eventually concede a late equalizer after whoever is playing in goal for them ****s up. They then lose to Senegal on penalties making it one of the most memorable moments in 2+2 history. Thread gets sticky status.

Colombia beats Belgium after for the 3rd tournament in a row they fail to play according to the level they should.
