brazil looked super dangerous with overloads in the final 1/3rd and often in central areas
Super dangerous is a big exaggeration, they didn't create a single chance, there was one really good potential moment where Hulk ****ed it up I can't remember anything else. They certainly looked like they might have some joy with quick one touch movements from midfield, but the same was if anything more true for Germany. Easy to get sucked into using hindsight. But before the 1st goal I was thinking this open a game suits Germany so much more than Brazil given what we knew about the teams and their personnel. The goal was really the first chance that I remember and it was so little time gone at that point I suppose we will never know what would have happened but I don't think the goal necessarily changed much.
decent in attack, ridiculous open at the back
highly unlikely that was ever going to end well against this german team
well don't think brazil starts to bend the knee and chokes on dicks if they go 1-0 up. might even go a little safe and negative and we get brazilians countering and overloading on howedes all game long. fernandinho was tactically absurd more so than any other thing tho, oscar is great at closing down and counter-pressing, not so much at defending space and maintaining correct defensive angles and all that in transition defense
on a tactical level stranding poor gustavo and dante on an island with marcelo ghana marcelo and maicon ghana oldmaicon going awol and luiz ghana luiz was pretty dumb, yah
