Alexis Sanchez has some very minor injury problem , he may or may not play tomorrow but should almost definitely be fine for Germany.

Bravo is a bigger problem , he still hasn't recovered from the Manchester derby problem and won't play tomorrow and it's a doubt for the week games. The more problematic part is that he is a guy whose form takes a while to return.

Other than that we are just missing some substitutes that could have helped in the attacking positions.

The point that teams should solely be in 1 continental tournament. At least Japan turned down the offer.

Why not merge them and have a 16 team tournament? You can take the few minnows left out and let them qualify for one place or something.

That's a similar thing that people moan about in UEFA qualification - I'd imagine that it goes on all over.

I quite like the guys who haven't quite made it to the big time get to represent their country and play against these big nations, even if they get their arses handed to them.

The only issue i have is FIFA (and UEFAs) greed with this:-

I know when it comes around i'm going to love the 48 team world cup because there is going to be so many games on but the over all competitiveness is going to be terrible with so many weaker teams in it.

CONCACAF WC qualifying is obviously not difficult in the way Euro or SA quals are, but it has its special brand of horrors. A country like Panama experiencing an uptick is legit fun to watch. TICOS luckboxed past RO16 but they were fun as hell to watch in their group stage. The second tier of the federation is not hot garbage and it really is something to have to go play an away game in Central America. I'll stick up for CONCACAF as a confederation. It's probably t4 (AFC) in overall talent but it's way fun to follow.

Qualification is not even remotely difficult for the bigger nations now. They can afford to lose a few games.
