KB24's posts itt are pretty bad, he likes to change things around to fit his argument.

For instance, the fields weren't bad, Federer made them look bad. Federer would have a better career w/l record vs. Nadal if Nadal, who happened to be ranked 2nd for most of 06-07, was good enough to make hard/grass court finals.

I also love that Fed's peak happens to be 04-07. 08 just doesn't count because Nadal destroying Fed on hard/grass when they're both at their peaks is just impossible! Also love that in 09 Nadal gets hurt and Fed makes every single GS final again. I guess he just found that peak again.

Anyway Fed prob GOAT right now, Djok is having an amazing run and could have the best peak. The problem is there really is no objective way to show that Djok's '11-Aussie '12 is >>> Fed's peak or Nadal's French '08- Aussie '09 or French '10- US Open '10. So even if we accept the notion that Djok's peak is better, he still should have to do it longer to be in the conversation. Also it's not like he just destroyed Nadal, Nadal took him to 5 sets and wasn't playing close to the tennis he played a year ago. Obviously Djokavic's style of play affects him and he should be given credit for that, I'm just saying he didn't blow me away as the OMGNEVERSEENTENNISTHISGOODGOAT.

Tennis right now is awesome, Rafa/Fed, Fed/Djok, Rafa/Djok are always incredible matches and it looks like Murray turned a corner.

maybe just a huge sampras fanboi talking here, but this is why sampras was in the goat discussion (aside from the 14 majors), he had a winning record against all his rivals. fwiwi i think djoke is goat and will solidify that once he keeps on upping his count.

really surreal how less than 2 years ago we were talking about howmany majors nadal alone had taken to rob fed's count and now the exact same thing happening to him, wondef if murray will turn corner and become goat next...lolol.

Federer actually matches up quite well against Novak:

Career wise he leads 14-10. Went 1-2 last year in GS against him tho but played some great stuff, could easily have won in NY. I don't think there is that much between them, even now.

respectfully disagree (kinda), i think while djoke has the edge on all surfaces, it is smallest on hardcourts and fed can def beat nole on hardcourts if he's not at his best. last year at french fed played flawless match and novak played bad (and it swasn't necessarily fed's play making novak play bad). i think nole can gtake roger on clay. grass i have no clue as nole blasting through wimby like that last year was so unedxpected.

Stuff like this makes me laugh all the time. Amazing how people find it hard to give the other guy credit, it's always down to the higher ranked player playing bad.

That's 7 losses on the bounce for Nadal against Novak. Federer has beaten him on clay and pushed him to the limit in NY.

Depending on the surface of course but if we are saying Hard Court, Im taking Federer to push Novak more than Nadal.

Right now I just think he matches up better.

i said roger played flawlessly, his great play induced some bad play in novak but novak played played plenty bad on his own as well. did u watch the match? i don't have a stat sheet in front of me, but i do know novak just generally looked bad with a bunch of uf errors ad legit seemed to be strained/not into the match a lot. if they were both bplaying at their best, roger doesn't win imo.
