Fed obviously has the more complete career than Djok, but Djok's top 5 GS are >>> Fed's top 5. And Djok is primed for another 2015-16 run.

Do people think fed can win another slam? I say maybe he wins 2 max but I feel
He wins 0 going forward. The Aussie open is 4 months away, he takes the French off bc he has no shot against nadal on clay. I feel time is against fed hard now and it’s about time he declines. Guy has kids.... he’s going to be hit sooner or later with old for a professional athlete.

I think he’s the goat based on gs count but djokovic or nadal could catch him. I feel djokovic will go on a tear now and might win 2-3 slams next year. Nadal.... could see him getting the slam count of fed but more likely to see him give the game up early due to injury. Nadal is the goat to me based on record against fed. I do feel fed in his prime was amazing however the prior crop of players (Roddick, etc) before the current big 4 was a joke compared to
The top 4-5 now.

Finally, I feel nadal could be in trouble with a well performing djokovic. I feel djokovic owns nadal On faster surfaces if djokovic is playing at his top level.

Finally, anyone feel tennis will change in say the next 10 years. I feel the parity at grand slams is lacking. I feel the game would improve if the same 2-3 players didn’t win slams over say 5 years. I feel parity will increase down the road and prolly improve the game slightly. I’ve felt in the past- says 80s/90s the parity of tennis was much different than was has happened in the current game. We rarily see gs winners not named nadal/fed/djokovic over say the past 10 years.

Novak vs Fed tomorrow in the semis of the Paris Masters 1000.

Indoor tennis. Starts at approximately 9:30 American mountain time.

Sock, who played in the 2017 ATP London finals and made the semis, is now ranked 105.

He played all season (i.e. he wasn't injured and lost points that way).

Amazing stuff.

I seen a stat the other day (i can’t recall it exactly and I can’t be bothered looking it up) but it was something like he’s only won 4 singles matches this year yet has gone to the number 1 player in doubles.

Makes you wonder if players prefer the style of doubles over singles. Would be interesting if all the top males took doubles seriously where they’d all be ranked. Can’t imagine it’d be too hard to adjust if they did play hundreds of matches.

Novak extends his overall win record vs Fed in a fun match in the Paris M1000.

Indoor tennis is great.

Idk how anyone could lol at Federer. Guy is 37 and still an elite tennis player. This is unheard of in tennis.... playing at 37 and still playing at such a high level.

Tsitsipas is going to be the real deal no question. I remember seeing him on tv playing a match at a small grass court tourny (last summer) and could tell he might be a top player. He’s going to be a great player. Think him and zverev are going to be the top players in next 5 years most likely.

I will say it looks like Fed is going to start a decline though no
Doubt. Guy is getting older. I still say it’s impressive what he is doing. Borg/ McEnroe both faded out very young unlike Federer. I still say Fed is goat until someone surpasses his total gs count which I’m not sure fed or djokovic can get to. Think fed will hold gs total count for a very long time if these 2 don’t surpass him. I feel parity will go up in grand slams once we lose these truly elite top 3 players.

Correct and will be obvious after he sweeps slams this year

Even the people who argue federers slams vs plumbers early in his career should count the same will start to aee the light

Yeah 3 in a row with a pretty good chance at 4. Probably won't win all 4 this year but if he wins 3 of the 4 it cements him as GOAT (even tho he already was cemented)

Probably coming for Fed's 20 just for the hell of it even tho he doesnt need it to be GOAT

Novak already has held all 4 at once. Still not GOAT but genius attempt to lay in the weeds for a few years knowing his best competition will get older and the next generation still ain't ready. I think he can leap frog Nadal in the GOAT rankings though.

Rafa still heavy favorite for FO as always but if Vak wins it he is undisputed GOAT. All 4 slams twice would just be insane/unparalleled.

Fed fanbois locked in he is GOAT because lol he's 37 of course Djok is better now. So Djok could beat Nadal on clay and destroy everybody else multiple times and it won't matter.

Vak now is positioned like mid 2000s Fed, although Fed had the good fortune to be entering his athletic prime and Vak is on the tall end of his prime. He’s going to go on a huge run and get to 20 majors before he’s 34. He has to be > 75% to retire with 21+.
