Vak never has to win another match. 2015-16 Novak is the greatest tennis player of all-time. The argument was never that he had to win most slams ever. There is literally nothing that changed anything unless Fed or Nadal randomly start playing better than 2015-16 Novak.

Sadly that’s not how it works, someone could play utterly unreal unbelievable stuff for a tournament and get a golden set against some in a final. That would be the greatest match ever played and tournament ever played. You have to take it over their entire career. Consistency and longevit are key. Roger and Rafa > Novak.

Lol at thinking that examining just one year only = greatest ever. And not even a regular calendar year/season, but a cherry picked 12 months. What happens if we look at 5-year peaks (let alone careers)? Or even just 2 or 3 years?
