Thoughts on playoff snubs?

Homer in me is PISSED NDSU gets winner of SDSU/EIU while EWU gets winner of Colgate/Wagner (lol)...some fairness that is to the #1 seed.

I'm pretty shocked UNH got a bye in 1st rd...well the fact they got in at all surprised me...

I was happy to see Lehigh get snubbed at 10-1 because they play a cupcake schedule.

I still have no clue what to make of SHSU but I think they are as good as they were last year and may be the team to come out of the bottom half.

Who does everyone think will be in the finals? I'm hoping for NDSU/MSU finals just because I do not like them and want to beat a team with a strong fanbase in the finals (SHSU last year were like grandmas at knitting class)

Go Bobcats! I'd be pretty satisfied with a MSU/NDSU final as well. I feel pretty good about MSU taking down EWU if it comes to it (avenging their only loss this season), even though the game would be @EWU.

This. Top half of the bracket doesn't seem too tough otherwise. Granted I think it's tough to know how good FCS teams are because you never see them play.

Ugh, SDSU looks good. Need to stop Zenner again or else NDSU is going to get run over.

Something tells me if we go on to win a NT the toughest game will be next week.

It's definitely the one that has me the most nervous.

Just have to do what we do best, shut down the run. Keep Zenner to under 100 and we win going away.

I'm making the drive to Vegas tomorrow morning to hang out with some Bisonville members and other NDSU fans at a viewing party at the Hilton.

Game got picked up by ESPN Gameplan so any bar with Gameplan should be able to show if (if you didn't know).

Didn't see this thread until now. Had season tickets at Delaware this season... we were horrible. But the whole CAA was very unimpressive by its standards. No shock ODU is the only team still standing from the conference. I think GA Southern ends that this weekend though. Other games look interesting too, hope y'all in Fargo are ready for the option of Wofford.

Any thoughts on Appy and Moore parting ways?

I heard it was agreed upon before the season started? Something about if his son didn't work out then he was ready to hang it up?

We demolished GSU's TO last year in semis and although Woffy gives a diff TO look, I think we will be ready for them too. NDSU 15 pt favs is pretty lol.

I predict a boring top 4 seeds moving on to the semis this weekend (although I would LOVE Ill St and SHSU to win (just because I hate Montana St and I root for MVFC teams)

I'm ready for tonight's game! MSU a tough place to play...especially I'd expect on a Friday night ESPN game.

From what I understand it's snowing at MT State too. Not sure how SHSU would handle adverse conditions. I think you're right though, top 4 seem like safe bets, but I think GA Southern can pick off ODU.

Dumb throw by the MT State QB, but a hell of an INT

Well, guess this answers questions about how good SHSU really is since they really didnt play any quality opponents outside of FBS teams.

MT State was sloppy in all facets, starting with the O-Line giving little time, leading to the QB missing targets all night. Add to that turnovers and coverage lapses, and SHSU never really had to sweat.

The only time I've ever watched FCS football was a playoff game in what I think was Montana, and it made me wish that that area was more into football.

I mean when you watch a winter game in the Mid-to-Northeast everything's so ****ing dreary, but back in Big Sky country when you're able to see the mountains on PATs and ****, its just gorgeous.

First ever national broadcast from Bobcat Stadium, and MSU unfortunately lays an egg. Tough way to go out, particularly that it was to the same opponent 2 years in a row.

As a sidenote, Sam Houston St must have a really, really small athletic budget. For some reason I noticed last year and then again tonight that their helmets are all random different brands and styles and look like they're about 20 yrs old with scuffs and chipped paint. Looks like cobbled together high school JV equipment. Makes a really bad first impression on TV imo.
