Brian Flores put on a HoF bad coaching performance today in London. In addition to punting on 4th and 1 from midfield while up 3, his clock "management" in the last minute was horrendous.

Personally, I don't think either of his two challenges were bad though. I think he got hosed on the touch of the punt.

The end of that game was a real clinic.

I agree about the punt--looked like the ball bent the guy's index finger backward.

0-0. 1st Quarter, 49ers at the 2 or 3 yard line, 4th and 1. Very 1st drive of the game (a 13-minute, 21-play drive up to this point).

The team lines up to go for it, calls timeout with 1 on the play clock, then sends out the fg unit.

I understand that there's a non-GTO but psychological argument to get some points on the board after such a long drive to start the game. But why are you calling timeout to save 5 yards on a chip shot FG!

I would love to see the percentage of times a team actually jumps offside in the situations where the offense is either planning to burn a TO, run to the 2 minute warning, or take a delay of game. It seems like it's super rare.
