2-2 so far. Ding playing such a nonsense opening bodes very well for Gukesh and our wager.

He had literally 6 months to prepare, knowing he’d face Gukesh, and he had said he only prepared the last 3 weeks. I thought he was being facetious… I guess he was serious!

(Non-proposal) Thing I really want to have a bet on, but can't find odds anywhere - NCAA women's volleyball tournament, Nebraska to take it all.

Another thing I was looking at - Oklahoma City is currently +500 to win the NBA cup. But the odds will move sharply after tonight's games (they are yet to qualify for the knock-out stage), so either it's an emergency bet which needs 8 AYEs, or we wait until tomorrow morning to re-assess. They are playing Utah Jazz tonight (bottom team) and have various scenarios to qualify, so I think that should not be in question really.
