6 tenths is a ton. Got to love how bad Williams is where the announcers are saying they will start last due to 5 spot grid penalty before Q1 as they have 0% chance of getting 14th or better. The fastest lap point might end up deciding the championship since clearly no one is even looking like they have any hope of 1 and 2 besides Merc.

fwiw ham messed up his first lap in q3 (still good enough to beat the ferraris lol), and then conditions worsened for the second lap and no1 beat their first lap time. the 6 tenths gap is a bit misleading i think

21 races so if Mercedes stays this dominant than fastest lap as a decider only happens if they both DNF once. For the tin foil hats out there Hamilton is sandbagging on orders as nobody wants a season that is basically over halfway. Ricciardo behind Kvyat must hurt him badly.

vaguely remember when williams in 1993ish were legit two seconds a lap quicker than ev1 else and they never managed anything like this
