Hamilton vs Rosberg was 42-36 in 4 years. That is better, but does not qualify for thrashing.

Ham is brilliant, but having the best package available has certainly helped to getting his current status.

VER has 1 pole, 7 wins. That is an indication of an average car and a superb driver

Bottas has 10 poles, 5 wins. That smells of a driver worse than his car.

I would have liked to see Ocon in Merc. With Bottas we already know what we have: a decently solid and boring driver who listens when he is told to sit

adjusting for a non-performance-related data point which materially skews the result =/ splitting hairs.

if it had been the other way round and alonso was on the wrong end of the 2+ second fluke outcome, ham would've either beaten him worse than he beats bottas on that lolhorrible metric or it'd have been super super close to being so

What a brutal crash. Hits the wall bounces back in the track and a car hits him flush in the side of cockpit at 150 mph at least. Worst crash I have seen in a long time.
