It is time to recognize Vettel for what he is: the best paid second driver of a team and only ahead because Leclerc got shafted various time with team strategy.

Vettel down
Leclerc up

Verstappen
Hamilton
Ricciardo
Leclerc
Vettel
Norris
Bottas
Räikkönen
Sainz
Hulkenberg
Magnussen
Perez
Gasly
Kvyat
Russell
Albon
Giovinazzi
Stroll
Grosjean
Kubica

I'm not prepared yet to improve on Gasly, because he has been inferior to and passed by all of them: Vettel, Leclerc, Verstappen. He managed to keep midfield behind him for once, something he ought to have done all season.

Hamilton
Verstappen
Ricciardo
Leclerc
Vettel
Bottas
Norris
Hulkenberg
Gasly
Sainz
Raikkonen
Russell
Magnussen
Perez
Albon
Kvyat
Grosjean
Giovinazzi
Stroll
Kubica

Hey! you are not playing by the rules

You are supposed to take the last list and make two switches, not post your own list created from scratch.

The stewards have ruled it a legal pass.

I was bored and calculated the classification of a Mercedes-less Formula1

Max Verstappen 195
Sebastian Vettel 181
Charles Leclerc 171
Pierre Gasly 89
Carlos Sainz Jr. 64
Kimi Räikkönen 52
Lando Norris 43
Daniel Ricciardo 42
Nico Hülkenberg 32
Kevin Magnussen 22
Sergio Pérez 29
Daniil Kvyat 31
Alexander Albon 23
Lance Stroll 19
Romain Grosjean 10
Antonio Giovinazzi 7
George Russell 0
Robert Kubica 0

The classification doesn't change by much, except for Magnussen, who has only two results.

Leclerc lost 10 points in Bahrain through no fault of his own and got the short end of the deal every time in lolFerrari lolstrategy loldecisions

EDIT: oh and Leclerc had a DNF in Monaco due to a Ferrari qualification blunder. He got shafted more than your boay Vettel

seb ahead in quali and ahead in races. and that's while being rigged against by the refs and suffering mechanical issues

gap in points so large that he can choose to crash into max on sunday and still be ahead of his team mate

Experience is the only thing that is getting your boy through because driver skills wise he's cooked.

Martin Brundle had a good article on Vettel. He is either having a string of bad luck or he has lost some reaction speed and vision. You don't need to lose much because of age to change from a WDC into just a fast driver who can no longer do wheel to wheel battles. Of course if he was driving a Mercedes nobody would have noticed as they tend to start in front and stay in front.

Norris down
Sainz up

Norris seems to be good, but Sainz is certainly good and I think he is better. Norris is a bit overhyped imo

Verstappen
Hamilton
Ricciardo
Vettel
Leclerc
Bottas
Sainz
Räikkönen
Norris
Perez
Hulkenberg
Magnussen
Gasly
Kvyat
Russell
Albon
Giovinazzi

Zandvoort is reporting that there have been 1 million ticket requests for the GP 2020.

That's 6% of the population in Netherlands

We are a crazy people

Tickets for Mexico City are expensive as ****. The cheapest bleachers were going for like $400 and sold out pretty quickly and anything decent is $800+. It's crazy b/c very few people here have that type of money, tickets for soccer matches can usually be had for like $6. I guess maybe a lot of people will fly in for this or possibly it interests the 1%ers here a great deal as kind of an "anyone who's anyone will be there" type of thing.

Obvious troll is obvious. Max drives under Dutch flag and if you hear him speak he is 100% dutch. The difference between dutch-dutch and belgian-dutch (flemish) is night and day

Mexicans have always gone crazy for motorsport. Dating back to the CART days...

Yesterday I had some time and since I couldn't inhale anything F1, I watched an entire Formula-E race on Youtube. Familiar names: Massa, Vandoorne and Wehrlein.

I'm sorry, I cannot take it seriously. It's a mix of F1 and bumper car racing and the most popular drivers can legally cheat (fanboost).

1 million tickets requested but 300.000 requests and tickets are already being offered at insane prices on reseller sites. Tickets will have names but logistically Zandvoort is already going to be a nightmare without them matching ID's with names on tickets. You could request 6 tickets on a single name anyway which means you can sell 5 and make a nice profit.

I hope they keep Spain. Was planning to go this year but had a work trip at the same time. It is now on the list for next year together with Vietnam.
