think it was silverstone last year. seb pitted earliest hoping to gain advantage and his tyre blew up with 2 laps to go. altho something similar happened (to seb again) in austria 2016 so mighta been thinking of that

Nah there was def some race last July I believe where Seb's tyres were ****ed and he refused to pit with a cpl laps to go, and then the tyres blew up right after he was past the pit lane

Do the BBC still show race highlights? IIRC they used to show a condensed version of an hour or so. Seems like a race worth watching today.

lewis still pretty big fav to win the title despite seb's start. i think der markt is expecting a few races which finish 1. merc 2. red bull 3. ferrari

in other news, lewis called max a dickhead during the post race drivers chat thing lol
