Charlie Whiting called Ocon’s actions “wholly unacceptable”. Every third party I’ve heard says the same. I don’t get it.

He was even with him before the corner, Max closed him out, Ocon tried to brake out of it.

So you’re allowed to unlap yourself but not allowed to race.

Here’s an unrealistic idea, "If he's got the pace then normally one would expect Red Bull to tell Max 'Ocon has got the pace, let him through', or that sort of thing.“

I think part of the problem is that he was on super fresh tyres and was highly likely to be slower again within a few laps. Unlapping yourself when you are obviously much faster is fine, although it still needs to be done in a very obvious/safe way. Unlapping yourself when you are marginally faster due to new tyres and wont be faster for more than a couple of laps is just a bad idea.

Sophia Florsch in Macau. There is another video showing her car spinning due to an impact before the crash that send her off the track.

Apparently she has a spinal fracture and several cameraman and crew where she hit are in a serious condition.

Amazingly she is fine. Successful surgery and no spinal cord damage. She thanked the guy that designed the car. Second time someone has a horrible crash in a car designed by him and walks away without issues.

Very tense with a smoking car and a driver trapped in there.

I watched that “1” doc a few weeks ago.

well that's that. 11/21 poles and 11/21 wins for lewis, pretty insane given that there were 4 cars (occasionally 6) in with a shout on most weekends
