I don't really dislike the way it looks as much as most other people seem to. Neat, modern and I can see it being more easily incorporated into all sorts of merchandise.

I don't, however, see the need for change nor what that logo is supposed to represent. It's a shield, but out of 2 Js? Or is that thing on the right part of a U?

What did happen?? I always thought zidanes masterplan, play as many forwards as posssible and cross the ball without any thinking, would win them la liga, copa, CL, FA cup, bundesliga, worldcup and a nobel prize. Wonder what the bald genius will do next week

Apparently Messi wasn't given a second yellow for preventing a quick free kick. Illaramendi even said that if he was wearing another shirt he would have been sent off

You generally can't get your opponent booked when you try to take a free kick after the referee tells you to wait for a 2nd whistle.

The referee had a really bad 2nd half. Gave a offside against sociedad where 4-5 players were offside only the guy who got the ball was onside by like 5 meters. Looks hilarious in replay. Just a few minutes later he gives neymar yellow for diving which was maybe one of the clearest penaltys in a long time. Keeper was just to late, didnt touch the ball only neymars foot. Another wrong offside against sociedad where willian jose somehow managed to foul umtiti and busquet in a split of a second. Should be a barca freekick and not a sociedad offside. In 85 minute a sociedad defender blocks a shot from Piqué with his arm in the penalty area again no penalty.

Yeah that was a great goal. Freiburg must be sick to their stomachs to come away empty handed after that effort due to a set piece goal and rl9 pulling a rabbit out of his head. Kind of like Darmstadt before the break

I'm actually a bit gutted for Freiburg. If we beat them 5-0, meh, who cares. But like this? Really sucks for them. Such a likeable team, and they played exceptionally well tonight.

My absolutely, second to none, number one favourite football site, fussballdaten.de, had a relaunch today.

Why does everybody and their uncle think it's a good idea to fix it when it ain't broken? The site had a great, minimalist design that had exactly zero issues.

Is there an English word for the German "Verschlimmbesserung"? This is exactly what happens in 99% of relaunches of sites that had no issues to begin with. Transfermarkt.de's site design is still total AIDS and that's now what, three years beyond the relaunch? Now not only their content is ****, but their site, too.
