Nico Elvedi (until the end of this month). Christensen just turned 20 this year.

Juanpi has been getting some hype already this year at Malaga. Not a bad goal last night for Venezuela either

Rumor has it that we supposedly sign a random teen striker from South America and are also linked with loaning Odegaard in the winter - just not sure why for the latter case.

Bayern signed 8 youngsters up for the CL in addition to the regular 25-men-squad. 1995 and younger and need to have been 2 years in the club already or s/t. That's a pretty cool rule (unlimited entries possible), even though they won't be played much. With the exception of Julian Green maybe.

Yeah I've been impressed with him for Malaga. Hopefully he can get stronger somehow but definitely someone resembling a real number 10 type of player with his overall high level of technique and creativity.

I also watched both Venezuela's games this round, mostly because of wanting to follow up on his Malaga performances but unfortunately it's one of the worst tactical teams that I remember seeing, making it very hard to look like a good player, so Juanpi's really had to pick his moments in what was a totally unbalanced mess of a team in both games.

It's a shame because they have some interesting players where Juanpi is the most interesting.

Penaranda is a really talented attacking player though he still needs to improve a lot. Then again, on this team he was in a spot that almost inevitably brought out the worst of him.

Josef Martinez as a second-striker type always impresses me when I watch him and at this point he should have had the chance to play more of a role for Torino in Serie A, even if he could score more goals than he has.

Rondon is a beast plain and simple. He could play for better teams than Pulis-West Brom and hopefully he won't be wasted with Pulis forever, even if it's extremely impressive that he actually manages to score some goals there.

In midfield Rincon is very solid all-round contributor.

Embolo plays for Schalke, so the odds of that happening are rather low.

Unlucky rits, now you have to deal with the same squad for 1 1/2 years. Same for Atleti tho.

I caught Penaranda against Barca or Madrid, or maybe both, and liked him. Just a lot of obvious qualities. Speed, size, touch. I actually thought he had gone to Watford, but I see the Pozzo carousel brought him to Udinese. That seems like a much better fit too.

You call yourself a fan and then claim the current team with a crying poser would be better than the Di Stefano and Puskas prime? Shame on you. Go sit in the corner and put on the silly hat.
