Frankfurt are probably gonna Portugal this. Magdeburg and Ingolstadt on penalties, close wins in Hanover and vs Bielefeld, then on pens in Gladbach again.
cheers. gotta watch this i guess. leggo eintracht!
apparently there'll be slight overlap with the copa del rey final, though.
bad schedulers are bad.

yeah, look. you're just reflecting now.
normal adults are perfectly capable of appreciating the skill sets of both players and being fine with any success either of them will have.

have you thought about being happy after a win? try it. it's great!
and i don't mean happy as in typing a bitter 'ahaaaahaahha' on 2+2 gambling forums.

next time the team you support wins, maybe try putting the envy and unhealthy obsession with messi aside?
furiously google searching photoshopped pictures of him after a deciding match is comical at best and sad at worst.

instead, next time maybe do what i assume any other ole regular rm remote fan in romania would do.
hop in that fiat punto and hit the streets of bucharest. stick a flag out. honk the horn like a madman. blast haha madrid out of the cassette deck until the speakers give in.

embrace the win and don't get sunk into the abyss of hate.

First sentence is solid advice. 2nd is just an inferiority complex of a guy whose team had to hire a Düsseldorfer as sporting director to be able to compete.

Spoiler:
Grats, Toedder. You guys belong in Europe. Feels right.

the whoscored la liga 11 is surprisingly good. yeray and illarramendi have been quietly great and filipe luis is a monster. i think godin is questionable, but he's still very good at some parts of the game.

On Cologne

Spoiler:
Yeah, that's how it is. Many people actually go great lengths to stay in Cologne. Frankly, it's a ****hole in a way, with a long tradition of the middle- and working class that didn't tolerate representative aristocratic architecture which then was bombed to shreds anyway (beautiful before WWII I'm sure), and much damage was done post-war too actually. Very green though.
But it is an astonishing place to live.

I think I've probably never been to the Corkonian.
Check out Metronom for a jazz bar next time, if you haven't already been there.

nah both have been pretty good all season. someone like ceballos could maybe take the midfield spot because he isnt a statue, but there's really no alternative at right back.

busquets has a shout, but there's a reason barca have the three best players and nobody else. the rest have mostly been trash.

depends on what you count. if it's about trophies then it'll be hard to justify after they lose to alaves in the cup. if it's about the best player then he should have won the last 8. there are only two different states in football: when messi is by far the best player in the world and when messi is injured.

but as long as they dont give it to the goalkeeper i dont care about these things.

That's also the catalan's press strategy, especially when times are tough for Barcelona and RM/CR7 win things, they keep on repeating it to themselves, like a mantra: "GOAT gonna GOAT". Then Xavi and Pique come out and say it, and then the president offers Messi some more money on his new contract.

Messi is way better than Ronaldo at many things, but either in a vacuum, or when it doesn't really matter that much. That Messi™ goal against Eibar is super cool, or even some sick free-kick of his, but you have to score it against PSG or Juve, or against Malaga, Depor, Celta etc. Or in the 4 finals he lost with Argentina.

There's a reason Ronaldo will win his 5th BdO this year. He was crucial in winning the league and making yet another CL final. The only time Messi was the best player itw in these last 5 years, is when Suarez and Neymar were crushing teams left and right, he was nutmegging Milner and co. and the camera was focusing on Pep's reactions to hype it up.

Now that Neymar and Suarez are not at 100% anymore, Messi seems to have gone in that state of football where he is injured.

tl;dr but you're the one that brought up both messi, ronaldo and the ballon d'or itt. i really dont care about the last two. ronaldo is a great poacher and individual awards are boring

Messi would just thrive, nothing would stop him. The World Cup final, the big, BIG dream right there. The absolute crown.
individual awards got boring when Ronaldo won 4 in the last 5 years, in Messi's detriment. don't be a sore loser and accept CR7's hegemony.

Apart from the first leg of the relegation play-off between WILfsburg and Braunschweig, there is also something very special tomorrow:
The 2nd edition of the "Finaltag der Amateure", where 20 of the 21 regional cup finals are shown on ARD. The winners of these finals will qualify for the first round of the DFB-Pokal. The other final in Saxony was won by Chemnitz againt Lokomotive Leipzig already.

Here is the schedule for tomorrow, league tier in brackets. In the bolded matches, both teams will qualify for the DFB-Pokal regardless of the result (Madgeburg, Kiel, Duisburg qualify by being Top 4 in the 3rd league.)

12:45 CET - 7 matches

Stuttgarter Kickers (3) - Sportfreunde Dorfmerkingen (7)
SV Halstenbek-Rellingen (5) - Eintracht Norderstedt (4)
Energie Cottbus (4) - FSV Luckenwalde (4)
SG Heidelberg-Kirchheim (6) - FC Nöttingen (4)
Eintracht Trier (4) - TuS Koblenz (4)
Wacker Nordhausen (4) - Rot-Weiß Erfurt (3)
1. FC Magdeburg (3) - VfB Germania Halberstadt (5)

14:45 CET - 6 matches

Leher TS (5)- Bremer SV (5)
VfL Osnabrück (3) - Lüneburger SK (4)
Wacker Burghausen (4) - 1. FC Schweinfurt (4)
SV Wehen Wiesbaden (3) - RW Hadamar (5)
MSV Pampow (6) - Hansa Rostock (3)
VfR Hausen (7) - 1. FC Rielasingen-Arlen (6) = lowest league match-up

17:00 CET - 7 matches

Rot-Weiss Essen (4) - MSV Duisburg (3)
SV Eichede (4) - Holstein Kiel (3)

SV Elversberg (4) - 1. FC Saarbrücken (4)

Wormatia Worms (4) - SV Morlautern (5)

It was pretty fun last season, so I assume it will be just as interesting this year. Coverage starts at 12:35 CET on ARD.
