I fully understand and get the rules. They are being clever to elude the rules by changing the way the company 'own' the clubs.

I agree, UEFA will get some money from them and it'll be happy days.

Clever = underhand, maybe even dishonest. And it won't be happy days, far ****ing from it.

Why would anyone champion these ****s? Their juice stinks and apparently the owner is another right wing crackpot. **** them.

I talking from a UEFA perspective. If they get money they won't give a monkeys.

Derek McInnes firing the shots at rangers, think he's completely spot on.

UEFA would rather change their own rules than turn down money.

Probably wouldn't have anyway, but with this squad there is no reason to watch the Confed Cup.

Lol at not even nominating Kruse. Sandro Wagner playing football for Germany is a disgrace.

Kruse / Gomez / Draxler appear as obvious offensive options given who's getting a break this summer. What's up with Gomez?

I guess they know what he is at this point. Not sure what information you'd get from taking him. Wagner as much as I dislike him is more of a wildcard. Plus now no one can say he's not being given a chance

Taking Stindl is a good step imo

An hour before the DFB announced Demirbay in the squad, the turkey FA tweeted that he'd chosen to play for them...lol

Was hoping Löw would leave more players for the U-21 but it's roughly what I expected.

3 mil € is the rumoured bonus for Celta's players, we'd better not f this up

That's what hitting it with your bad foot until your feet are bleeding for years on end does for you.

I wonder what all the modern one footed players excuse is?

The U-21 squad is still very good...sick depth we have. Nothing like '09 when we walked the Euros though.

Line-up from the final:

Manuel Neuer – Andreas Beck, Jérôme Boateng, Benedikt Höwedes, Sebastian Boenisch – Mats Hummels (83. Dennis Aogo) – Fabian Johnson (69. Daniel Schwaab), Gonzalo Castro, Sami Khedira, Mesut Özil (89. Marcel Schmelzer) – Sandro Wagner

Wagner scored twice in this game and I was still convinced he is utter trash.

I remember you guys being well matched by England in the group stage and then pumping them in the knock outs. Iirc I thought Jack lol Rodwell was best player on the pitch that game.

On the other hand memories are **** and those details maybe completely wrong.

Celta players with nothing to play for for the rest of the league are losing their ****ing minds over the refereeing, might want to make a little less obvious that there's a lot of money on the line

Am I the only one who feels it's weird that Aogo was part of that team? I kind of think of him as way older than Boateng or Khedira. Kind of similar with Castro, can't believe he was u21 in 2009, he was a Bundesliga regular in 2004/05! And then I realise that 2009 is way closer to 2004 than 2017 and weep a little

pretty standard practice for the rivals in a title race to offer some incentives to teams playing their opponents. Used to be allowed everywhere, but I think it's illegal in most leagues now

so if real ships la liga, malaga gets 1kk euros because of isco. last match is real vs. malaga and real only needs a tie. hmm wonder if it's going to be a difficult match.

maybe barcelona offered 5kk euros tho? lol
