^this. I’m glad he’s basically gone and he can get ****ed. He kicked up a stink at Dortmund as well in his first stint there and he will kick up a stink when he doesn’t get the playing time he feels he (likely doesn’t) deserve.

He’s brilliant when he’s on, but he’s too much of a prime Dona to actually put the work in and play at that brilliant level consistently.

That United are/were willing to risk him going to Chelsea and doing well there says a ton about his attitude and how toxic he is.

yeah. they renegotiated to put a sell on clause in instead of a higher initial fee. Chelsea had previously turned down a 22 and a 25 million pound flat offer and were looking for 30, but then they added the sell on and the initial went down. i apparently jumped the gun on that one assuming they were going to get the 30 flat.
