You can't have it both ways bruh, when we cakewalk the league it's not competitive and when we finish 2nd it's still not competitive. The lesson should be you can't trot a broken team in Ligue1.

What does Pep cakewalking the PL tells you about its competitiveness?

I wasn't specifically talking about the PL either, go to Spain or Italy as well.

But going forward if you want for a bit of fun we can have a friendly bet, I'll take anyone but City and PSG and you get City and AB PSG.

Both win the league tie breaker can be the points difference between between 1st and 2nd.

Paris FC almost made it up from Ligue 2, but failed in the playoff tournament. They've got Bahrain money, so probably only a matter of time.

I agree that we underperformed quite a bit given the amazing players we had before Qatar joined the party. Ligue1 always been that tough.

London, Rome, Berlin, Edinburgh etc it’s not uncommon for the captain to not have the biggest club(s) in the country.

Maybe the goal is to go to England, Spain, Italy or Germany when you break through in France so it’s never had the chance really to establish itself as a club power house. Football goes through phases;

Spain 60s, England 70s, Germany 80s, Italy 90s, 00s Spain/England, 10s Spain

Int they are fantastic 2 world cups, euro in the last 20 odd years.
