Wouldn't be surprised if Bale comes back and retires in 2022. I hope we get to keep at least one of Ramos/Varane. Vazquez too.

Zaha is a funny one, he’s one of those players whose worth so much more for palace than he is for Arsenal and they’ll just not pay the asking fee for him. People do change and mature it’d be interesting to see if he would buckle down if he did get a move to Arsenal.

Will be an interesting one for us. Would assume Berge will go, if we can get back what we paid then I'd likely be fine with it, on the assumption we get a decent Championship-level CM, assuming Norwood doesn't recover form. Will guess that someone will be after Egan, which would be more of a loss. O'Connell would be attracting interest if it weren't for the injury so I guess at this stage potential buyers will wait to see what he does in the Championship and then move in the JTW if we're not up towards the top. Don't see anyone else who'd be a target that we can't retain - Stevens/Baldock possibly, but seeing how Stevens has been wank all season and we've got better LWB options in Osborn and Norrington-Davies, and given that Bogle is better than Baldock right now, I don't think they'd be big losses?

Isco and Asensio have always been irregular, but the spanish press loved them. It was very easy for them to blend in that team we've had, they weren't the ones carrying it. Isco has always been a diva whenever he wasn't playing regularly, he's been out of shape for a few years now and he's most likely done with football at the very elite level. I wrote Asensio off when Ronaldo left and he said RM shouldn't rely on him to be one of those carrying the team, because there were other veterans that should do it. 5 years at RM, under 10 G+A in 4 of them. He's not good enough to be a starter for RM, idk if he's delusional enough to believe he is. I'd rather keep 20 year old Rodrygo and maybe fool somebody into buying Asensio.

What's up with Odegaard? People on reddit were pretty high on him a few months ago. One guy was asking me if I would like RM to sell Odegaard so that Mbappe could be bought lmao

My understanding was that for Walcott's move from Arsenal to Everton, the latter took on the full wages, but will happily be corrected by those in the know.

And to be clear, Walcott's contract with Everton was expiring in June so although he took a 50% pay cut from his current wages, it's not like he was forfeiting money from his current deal

Yupp. I see no way Levy will budge. Also unfortunately the mainland teams are pretty broke so they wont be splashing out 150millie for Kane.

That leaves City, United, Chelsea as possibilities (PSG, maaaybe?) and we know how Levy negotiates especially with rivals.

Also pretty bad that for the qouted price you could buy Haaland, Mbappe, Sancho+a young striker.
