such a late bid would have to be regected. would leave Spurs desperate for a striker with a mountain of cash, and would be therefore held to random by every other club not wanting to sell their main striker with little time to replace them.

I didnt take Kane for a guy playing such hardball as to not come to training.

Also someone should inform him that first you need an official offer before you start forcing a move. Or did that already come in and I just missed it?

Submit a 90mill offer now I think. Tell Kane not to show up to training ever. Maybe up it to 100mill when Levy is sweating bulletts. Assuming fans would take Kane's side apart from some real hardcore levyggoat fans

What United should have done is obvious.

Don't buy Sancho because Dan James is better.
Sell 2/3 - Fred/McTominay/Matic and buy Nididi.

Comical to see Palace, Watford and the dingles sniffing around Ademola Lookman when Matheus Pereira is available.

The temperature across several fan sites was at best pretty lukewarm towards Kane after the Gary Neville interview. If he's bailed in training, I think most fans would support the club over Kane.

I think it was fairly well-sourced that City bid Ł100m for Kane earlier this summer, e.g.,

Anyway, I'd be happy to see Kane go for anything north of Ł140m. Ł100m isn't anywhere close if they just paid that for Grealish. This summer seems to be a good one to get some very decent players in. For example if players like Lautaro are available for Ł70m, then it's conceivable you could bring in 2-3 very decent replacements.

I'm in for the City not to finish 4th or worse bet

Sorry ao I just love free money

You can lay Man City to not finish in the Top 4 on betfair exchange @ 1.08 (12/1)

I'll offer 10/1

It must be free money. They would have to finish below Arsenal AND Spurs

Also makes sense re: fans and Kane. It is time for him to learn that there is no such thing as a 'gentleman's agreement' in football and you should never appoint your brother as an agent unless he is already an established one.

Aston Villa looking like a better team without Grealish. Great window.

Lautaro Martinez would never join Arsenal OR Tottenham. Danny Ings could be an option though.

Or having a half-arsed Kane wandering around up front, which seems to be a possibility.

Why? Where will he go for more money? Im guessing both clubs would be paying more than Inter. All euro clubs are broke and/or afraid to spend cause whatever variant of covid could stop the season in its tracks.

Dont know his contract situation, but he could be earning as much as Willian easily at either clubs.

Highly unlikely that any of the 2 would pay 70m + a contract, but if they do what stops him? And please dont say the appeal of CL footy. Pretty sure he would value a lot of money more.

Not outside of the realm of possibility that Arsenal get Lautaro I suppose, but I hope they've got a better sales pitch than "come here and you can make as much as Willian".

Noticed that Spurs start against City... how about City act they're gonna pay up, Kane doesn't feature in that game, then City tell them to shove it and use the money for Haaland

Kane still wants Shearer's record and others. and a half added Kane is still probably better than anyone else spurs could replace him with.

He might threaten to quit, but I don't see him drowning tools on the pitch.

As such they don't need to pay their players nearly as much gross as we do. I'm not sure how it works in Spain, but i wouldnt be surprised if it is something similar.

CL should be worth something. How much? No idea. I agree with you that most players value money over CL. But playing in CL and for a top club (barca and the likes) should be worth a significant amount in endorsements?

My bookie has odds for this market and they don't even list Arsenal as an option. Not sure how much i should read into that, or how accurate these markets are to begin with as im sure there's limited liquidity, but it should give some idea on what the market thinks.

Inter 1.1x
Barca 6x
United 10x
PSG 13x
City 15x
Chelsea 17x
Juve 21x

So yeah, maybe Arsenal or Tottenham (less likely) could get him, but they'd have to pay him a boatload and also have none of the big dogs after him. Even Atletico Madrid may be a better destination? How much is Kane on? 200k p/w is the figure i see and i doubt that's enough.

I could be wrong on all of this. I usually am.

120m for Kane could be spent very well. I hope they keep him.

60 for Vlahovic
40 for x
20 for new coach

Spurs don't have a great track record in that regard. Thinking of the money they got for Bale...

But if I had to pick stuff as of today, I'd go Chelsea/united/Pool/City in that order.

Lol, C’mon, they’re still the favorites to win the title this year. It may not be as easy as last year, but Grealish is a top-class fresh face in the side.

I agree City should be the favorites. Just predicting a down year.

Romano reporting Inter turn down €100m for Lukaku from Chelsea. Dont get it from either side tbh.
