It is bizarre. Especially since he has done great in his loan spell and its not like we have talent in CB (and many other) positions.

Seems like with Alaba coming in and Militao establishing himself, one of the Madrid CBs might actually have to play for United instead of just using them to get a better contract.

Pretty unlikely, unless we have Kounde or somebody else lined up, especially with the Varane rumours. Not that hard to let Ramos go, either. It's one thing to be a legend at 30 years old and a different thing at 35 after you've been injured the whole season and even dropped from the NT. Plus the way himself and his agent (his brother lol) dealt with this situation. I don't think Ramos has a legit offer on the table, though.
