nothing new. they were similarily awful in the 1st half of 15-16 and 17-18 seasons. in 16-17 season morata, james and most importantly ramos time kept them afloat.

The Spanish press was already all over Solari yesterday for having commented that one shouldn't underestimate the value of ties. Unbecoming of a Madrid manager, disgraceful lose mentality, stuff like that. In El Pais and ABC.

It's wonderful really to see them suffer like this. No one deserves it more.

Another conclusion from today: Isco is just fat.

horrible game, decent result. the away goal might come handy obviously.

i'd start pretty much the same xi in the 2nd leg; give them a chance to turn things around.
just have messi and co on the bench this time around, in case things go sour.
