Exactly one year ago, the king brought absolute eternal glory to Portugal. Not many can say this, you know? Many people crumbled when it really mattered, but not this king.

All I take from that is that Messi has been closer to the World Cup than Ronaldo ever has and will

I guess when the only noteworthy person your country ever produced is named Nicolae Ceaușescu, you have to bathe in other countries' heroes.

It might have something to do with the fact he wasn't in the squad for that Euro.

CR7 is the first player to play and also coach an Euro final, here's a photo with his assistant.

Some serious dedication.
They've finalised the fixtures today and it looks like I'll be doing games on the other side of the country unfortunately, tentative schedule of Dresden/day trip to Prague/Aue/Rasenballsport/hope that Jena/Halle/Zwickau get moved to Sunday, failing that maybe Darmstadt

Ronaldo still GOAT, sunday was a fantastic day of tv around here

James is being loaned to Bayern, this never would have happened if SN was still alive

Oof, Ajax announced Abdelhak Nouri, who collapsed on the pitch during a friendly last week has severe and permanent brain damage... awful

Yeah

Not only one of the most talented Dutch players around but also without a doubt one of the nicest, friendliest and funniest players I've ever seen at Ajax. He was already one of the most beloved players at Ajax, while he didn't even fully breakthrough yet. Probably the reason why I am legit sad about this.
