Beautiful scenes when we celebrated our 20th league title and our 2nd star last night

Seeing Zlatan and Rosenberg together is just too beautiful

Am I correct in thinking that almost all of Bale’s injuries have been muscular (especially his calves)? RM medical team partly to blame?

Pretty sure Bale is made of glass.

I hear we're signing Neymar next summer, any worries andre/PSG fans? Decent replacement for that welsh bum if you ask me.

That would actually be hilarious if RM did sign him.

Still baffles on a footballing decision to go from Messi and Barca to PSG.

I think we turned like an 80m profit from transfers this summer + what we have lined up for next season's transfers + Bale leaving + the unlikely case in which Cristiano is leaving as well.

There's a lot of talk about that in Spain and some RM players such as Marcelo, Casemiro, Ramos, Ceballos have recently spoken publicly about Neymar being welcome at RM. It's pretty odd they started talking about him like that all of a sudden. He probably realised he made a mistake by leaving Spain and he wants to go back either at RM or Barcelona.

The entire country of Spain will soon be one big parking lot sold by ReLÖL Madrid to the Spanish government.

Probably the deal is - you help pay for a new stadium better than the Wanda with public monies and facilitate that we build luxury condos on the site of the old the Bernabeu in exchange for which we sign Neymar.

80 mil from this summer + hopefully 70 mil for the hypochondriac and we'll need about 70 mil more for N€¥mar, that's the rumour, that he still has that release clause of 222m, even though release clauses are illegal in France.

Obviously lolmarca and such, but Andre do you feel the Barca/RM domination is over and (marketwise) PSG is here to stay / players come to PSG to stay?

no1 has ever left chelsea or city without the owner(s) wanting them gone. tevez came close, but not even getting on a plane to argentina and turning his phone off for 9 months did it. yaya's cake shenanigans also a good effort

data suggests that oilbux = you aint going anywhere son

Re: European Football 2017-18

It's one thing to be wrong about transfers in the summer, just as any paper/journalist itw, things change very often in the negotiations and you don't know all the details, but that doesn't mean you were wrong all the way. You can lol at as and marca all you want, but I bet you guys know about 5 words in spanish and none have anything to do with football, you just wave the transfers marca and as were wrong about and ignore the ones they got right. It doesn't matter anyway, if you know spanish you have other sources for this type of news, but as and marca are right way more often than wrong and obviously they will also invent stuff, like anybody else.

Now, this Neymar thing is different, we're in November, why would you invent anything so early? How come in the summer, when asked about Mbappe, RM's players didn't want to talk about him because he was playing for Monaco and now all of a sudden Ramos and RM players publicly say Neymar is welcome at RM and maybe this was the easier route to RM, rather than coming straight from Barcelona? When this all started? When the NT games started. Who were the first ones to publicly talk about Neymar at RM? Casemiro and Marcelo.

unless he indeed has that release clause, which makes sense now, since they were desperate to sign him in the summer and they probably agreed to get him one.

For the record, I don't really care if RM sign Neymar or not, at least not so early in the season, who knows what can happen until summer, I don't take it seriously, but this thing is pretty strange.

Re: European Football 2017-18

So, today marks the 10 year anniversary of my registering on twoplusttwo. Holy ****e I'm getting old...

Let's celebrate the occasion with looking at my first ever pöst on this site, in which I 2x-pot over-shove the nuts on the turn for fold equity.

this is my first post here, although I've been reading quite a lot of this forum lately. I'm looking forward to becoming a better player through this excellent site.

Now to the hand:

Villain is new at the table so no reads.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

BB ($7.40)
UTG ($23.40)
UTG+1 ($24.35)
MP1 ($24.65)
MP2 ($20.90)
Hero ($24.75)
Button (Villain) ($22.90)
SB ($22.40)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K, Q.
3 folds, MP2 calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.25, Button (Villain) calls $1.25, 2 folds, MP2 calls $1.

Pretty much standard up until now. However I don't like the coldcall from BU and being OOP.

Flop: ($4.10) 4, 3, 9 (3 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $3.5, Villain calls $3.50, MP2 folds.

Great Flop for me. I've got a FD and 2OC's, so I elect to continue my preflop aggression and try to make it look like an overpair protecting against the FD. Again I don't really like the call from him. Still OOP...

Turn: ($11.10) K (2 players)
Hero bets $20 (All-In), Villain calls $18.15 (All-In).

Now this is where I really didn't know what to do. I figure I got a really strong hand here, but what in the **** is he calling all the way with? I finally made up my mind that I will never fold this so I could aswell push all in directly to generate the last bit of FE I might have, since pretty much every bet I make would anyways commit myself to call his push.

River: ($47.40) K (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $47.40

Now is shoving here a mistake? Can I get away from this?

Thanks for comments and discussions.

Sugar Nut
I can only imagine I lost the hand. Why else pöst a spot like that, haha! Oh, to good old days, when you didn't even have to think about what your opponent has, and still could win at a decent clip just by preflop hand selection...
