the worst years under rijkaard had some of the best squads. the 07-08 squad is insane and they were still terrible https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007%E...ad_information

03-04 was basically just ronaldinho and xavi. 02-03 they were all trash.

He's amazing in these games, man. Phenomenal even. But you have to play the same against PSG or Juve. Or against the likes of Depor, Malaga, Betis etc., when the league is on the line. Or in tough matches with Argentina. You dig? That's why Cristiano won 4 Ballon d'Or in the last 5 years, he shows up when it really matters. The people voting are seeing these games, but they will also see the tough games this season when all of a sudden Messi won't be so good anymore and guess what? All of a sudden it will be his team's fault.

the slightly funny part is that ronaldo was back home on his couch when madrid won all the tough games to secure their first league title in forever last season. they couldnt bother using him in away games

but all this is boring. nobody mentions ronaldo in messi posts because he's not relevant. no reason to change that
