Awesome! Darmstadt still just 1 point away from the relegation.

WTF was that from Mathieu? Who does he think he is playing for... ManU?
09-21-2014 , 03:16 PM
poor finish
09-21-2014 , 03:19 PM
Xavi would have been 35 meters from making the tackle Rakitic made earlier.

Messi will break every assist record this season.
09-21-2014 , 04:19 PM
Great Alba run and nice to see Pedro get on the board
09-21-2014 , 05:00 PM
Blanc resignation.
He is no longer the man of the situation seriously.

Messi's assists will double once Suárez steps on the pitch. Cannot wait.

Having in the same team busquets, rakitic, messi and suarez is like playing fifa ultimate team or something, each of those guys are top 5 at the worst.

Correct. Rakitic has been a boss in every aspect, most notably, the massive improvement in transition defense from replacing xavi

Rakitic

I would say that Mathieu & Pique is in no way given as the CB duo (nor Bravo as GK). It feels almost criminal not playing Mascherano after that WC performance, although that was at MF. Would like to see him used there more in MF for Barcelona, to take some minutes off Busquets, even though Samper can fill in there too.

Anyone's got a recommendation for watching Bundesliga in London this weekend? I'm afraid we won't go to an actual game of football.

özil
rakitic wasn't good at schalke at all

I agree that it's Özil because the one thing our teams back then most lacked was creativity, if not for the sale maybe we'd have won that elusive title once between 07 and 2010.

But it isn't really true that Rakitic wasn't good at all here. He wasn't good for the most time, but once Magath put him in the position he plays now at the start of 09/10 (maybe his last good decision as a manager), he absolutely took off and played a fantastic second half of that season. Unfourtunately the next year Magath stopped making the best out of what he had and instead his midfield-diamond-fetish kicked in, Rakitic didn't work there and an extension couldn't be reached. lol.

Which sucks because we still don't have a mainstay at CM

Rakitic>>>>modric
