instead of paying 3rd/4th, I'd vote to have a payout for the worst group record, and the worst of the last 16 (team that loses to a team that loses the QF, to a team that loses SF to the losing finalist).

Gives a decent sweat then for everyone, even if you draw Scotland or Germany.

Buy-in to be determined. It's just EV neutral gambling, if we got 24 people in everyone would get randed one team (with 12 people in each gets 2 obv etc) and four teams get paid- winner, runner up, worst team in the group stage and ultimate R16 loser (someone who hasn't just gotten up can explain that one better than me). So its designed for everyone to possibly have a sweat no matter which team you're dealt.

I think £10 will be best to get runners. We're unlikely to get a full 24, so some people who want to gamble more can top up.
