Also at the end of the day 3 points is 3 points.
Against ****ty sides like LOLdavia the team intends to play attacking football and I saw a few nice combinations in midfield (as BBBB already pointed out) and VDV and Sneijder took turns popping up dangerously behind the front line. However, their #10 area was rather packed with LOLdavians (and themselves obv, they often close each other's space). And on top of that Kuyt and Afellay(on the left lolol) obviously aren't the best wingers - especially when you want them to provide width and general awesomeness.

A reputation takes years to build and can be ruined in a minute. Hollands new style of kick the **** out of the opponent is what Holland have now been tagged with. You've got arguably two of the dirtiest players in the European game on the one side. Dropping De Jong was a good move imo just drop van Bommel and we'll all be happy

You mean the invisible Kagawa you saw against Bayern or the one playing strong vs terrible teams?
I agree, Kagawa is definitely worth more than he cost, but dont pretend he would even play for Bayern.
Obviously he doesn't ever play for Bayern, that's why you have 8 points

Gomez should obviously start every single game, he showed why vs you, you got lucky that Weidenfeller got his foot there, otherwise it's 1-0 and no one talks about Klose. I dont know why you would ever fistpump, unless, of course, you never watch a Bayern game.
Fistpumped because the game was a lock to be X-0, basically we got an extra defender for free

Touche.
Can we set up a bet that Kagawa will not play as good as he does right now 6 months from now?

He had more opportunities than Olic and Klose combined in their games. Gomez will hopefully deliver otherwise Bayern is done.
Btw the defender you are talking about is necessary, Hummels and Subotic, especially the later, suck this season!

He is right though.
vB is a liability, that guy is terribly slow, given his aggressiveness, he is a time bomb.

All he does is fouls players left right and centre. He can't keep up with the game anymore. He just breaks up play illegally.

i'm with you.

without players like DeJong and VanBommel the WC final result would have been embarrassing (something like 3/4-0 imo).

i'd much rather have some players that can be physical than players that hit the ground as soon as somebody gets within 3 yards of them.

How many Bayern games do you watch? I can tell you, that guy is a liability. He is playing way worse than he did last season and is too slow. I would say he doesnt attack as hard as he used to do, but he "made up" for it by being slower.

Me2, but I'd rather have 11 pussies on my team than one van Bommel.

Hmm, fair enough point.

As i've said before I don't mind a sliding tackle or going in hard as long as you win the ball and I hate divers. It's different with him though as he doesn't even go for the ball but goes right for the player. That different. It's like he goes to hurt the player.

have to give VanBommel credit, all teams would be happy to have a player that can make 27 fouls per game and almost never get red carded.

--

imo VanBommel does not go out his way to injure players far from it, he is there to destroy any rhythm the opposition have.

Its all you can mention it seems and its simply not true either. He was fantastic for Bayern last season and for Netherlands in the cup. Sure, he makes more fouls than most players. There is more to him though and you dont give him the credits. Same with De Jong. Furthermore, the Dutch team has plenty of brlliance to show with all the creative players we have. You just dont want to see it I guess, for whatever reason.

Havent watched any BAyern games yet this season, seen his Dutch games though and he looked good in each game (allright, no real oppostion yet). Watched quite a few last season.

I dont think you believe the last statement.

I dont want vB on our team anymore, he is ****ing terrible, there are 2 players way more qualified to play and on top of that, we decide against Khedira, because he isnt qualified for Bayern (lol Nerlinger).

i'd guess the reason could be the full on assault in the WC final

---

i think Trappatoni would give his right bollock to have an Irish player like vB.

How many goals have we conceded this season? 5? The least of anyone in the Bundesliga? The same amount Bayern scored all season?

True, but I only watched the EuroLeague games, so I am biased.
Tbh, I just wanna skip the period right now and start arguing when it's the 22nd playday.

lol Spurious. Van Bommel was one of the most important players for Bayern last year. Try dropping anyone but him.

And I hate the guy

He fouls a lot yes, is he dirty? Rarely

Plus he also wins the ball a looot without a foul. Which is huge for any team. Basically he either wins the ball or he fouls the player. Because of his slimy bitching asslicking character he usually gets away with it. And as a team you either want him to win the ball or make a foul, if he doesn't do that they are usually in trouble at the back.

Yeah last year, but again, I am talking to clueless people.
A majority of Bayern fans want to see him on the bench. We got Tymoshchuk to make up for it - easily.
