League titles and a good shout of winning the CL every season. A breeze every week, no need to get out of second gear either and it's not exactly a **** league either.
Because he's 28 and his next contract will most likely be the last big one in his career. I've mentioned this numerous times before but at an absolute minimum we should be making offers to players like Alaba to force Bayern into paying top rate salaries since the current market (at least before Covid) had more $$ than talent.
If Bayern won't pay him more than €15m then we should be giving him €20m no questions asked.

As for Alaba, I know lol shirts and all, but he's been at Bayern since he's been 14 or whatever and might just like it there so it's possible PL clubs would have to give him significantly more money than Bayern, who aren't exactly poor themselves. Of course he could also want to go somewhere else after all those years at the same club. He'll be able to command a top wage anywhere so this might actually be a situation where it might come down to where he wants to play rather than a 5-10% difference in weekly wage.
I agree on Alexis being a lot of results orientated thinking mixed with lols because it's United.
I don't think the chances of us signing him are likely but it's incredibly annoying to watch Bayern sign world class players for small salarries (relatively speaking) becasue club execs seem to just shrug and say "well he's never gonna leave Bayern so no point"
