Ceballos should be playing in Valencia, some place like that.

200-250m sounds entirely feasible. pretty easy even

+1 to both, he only seems equipped to handle half of what's asked of him, but he's pretty good at that half

The only question on that price is where the football economy is at come this time next year or in 22. Pre-Covid, absolutely. As of right now, I think it’s fair to say that may be up in the air for a small period of time (which Mbappe clearly has with his age)

not that up in the air imo. prices are probably 10-20% lower than they would have been otherwise, but if he was for sale for 300m it would be more likely than not to happen

We have gaping holes in many areas and too many of Pellegrini's signings want to only play when we have the ball.

Bale seems to just have fallen out of love with football. Don’t blame him much...after you’ve singlehandedly won your team the Copa and a CL there’s really nowhere to go from there. Obviously still cares a lot about Wales though.

Didn’t have a clue why they were in the thick of relegation for so long. The players they brought in during the summer looked brilliant on paper, on top of Lanzini, Antonio, etc. Seems like the quiet January additions of Bowen and Soucek made much more of an actual difference on the pitch.

I guess that stat about Payet still having the most chances created on the team since 2015 says a lot.

Not getting my hopes up for a summer of Partey, Aouar and Upamecano or anything, but I’m not sure if it’s going to be so quiet.

The noise about Coutinho and Willian seem to be growing louder every day. Not so thrilled about that tbh.

I’ve flip flopped on Dani so much. Sometimes he looks like Xavi and other times I wonder how on earth he ever played a minute for Madrid. He seems to have blossomed under Arteta though, and I love how much he outwardly cares on the pitch.

Wish list for Spurs:

2 starting full backs. A proper DCM/holding midfielder. A proper back-up striker. A new CB if Jose decides Foyth can't step up with Jan likely going.

So Ndombele is out?

Ndombele isn't really a DCM. Him and GLC still levels above the rest of our midfield, would be nice for them to have a proper DM behind them.

I'd love both. Not sure about Coutinho's form, but at least we would get creative midfielders.

It seems that we have the ability to defend as a unit, creating chances is overlap from FBs and crosses. Xhaka/Ceballos will not produce those precise final 3rd passes that Ozil could make. We need that badly.

Fair enough. Dier is thought of as a CB now right?

Yeah but utility player. He was really good after the restart until the ban kicked in to be fair to him.

RW, DM and some AM depth please. CB/LB would be nice as well but I'm not greedy.

I'd rather sign Willian on a free for 2 years than pay a significant transfer fee, similar wages and 4+ years for Partey.

I think Tanganga steps up rather than signing someone who will take his minutes. Toby/Dier/Sanchez/Tanganga is sufficient even if we sell Foyth.

I agree a RB would be good, but Davies is fine at LB IMO, especially as he's effectively a LCB. Parrott is our reserve striker or he'll leave.

I think we'll get Hojbjerg and not much else. Books will be balanced by selling Foyth/KWP.

hojbjerg for 25m seems to be pretty much done deal.

ndombele situation is terrible. its obvious he has so much potential but his head, physique and jose are a problem. i dont think there is any chance ndombs can redeem his relationship with jose. so we would have to loan or sell him for a huge loss.

left-footed cb would be necessary as Toby, Dier, Sanchez and Tanganga are all right-footed.

back up for harry is needed. parrott should be loaned to championship as that would be better for his development. jose wont trust him enough.

vorms contract is expiring so english 2nd/3rd string gk would be nice for hg-quota. hopefully someone from the reserves is ready to get promoted.

antonio is a beast in dfs because he basically can only go in one direction towards the net, i'm not in a place to say if that improves his teams chances vs many of the other guys who'll just kind of try to dribble or pass in hope of something better but once you eliminate the popular guys on the dominant teams he's up there in shot attempts etc while being pretty universally ignored - you just know if WHU is able to control the ball long enough to attack (big if) then he's going to be racking up a lot of counting stats even if he doesn't find the back of the net - definitely didn't have him on the right nights though

lanzini was a big tease this year, my model loved him and i played him a bit in the early going just waiting for variance to correct itself and finally the coach started preventing me from further playing him by benching him a bit

when watching arsenal, it seems ceballos is at the center of everything going right AND everything going wrong, i'm liking him a lot more next year, will very likely stick him in my week 1 fpl roster assuming his price will be quite low - i think there's a very good argument he should have a few more assists and even an extra goal or two - if we simmed this year a few times i think this would be his worst output of the 10

got a decent sweat for this week with chelsea for 3rd overall, got it at 4:1 just as the covid games opened and i think decent chance they beat wolves and mun tie to lei - but i suppose now that I've typed this out most of the thread will now cheer for wolves and mun

really excited for chelsea next year and praying they don't upgrade their defense and make for some sweet o/u 5 games each week

One of the most useless defenders I've ever seen but I think there's a good attacking WB in there somewhere.

Can’t help but think Grealish will be another Zaha. Get his big move, do nothing and return with his tail between his legs. Big fish, small pond.
