Kinda feels like a situation where everyone freaks out and predicts total carnage at Barca and in the end they win the title and go out in the CL semi as always
lol so this fool got Messi on that 10th of June technicality. but it's also a massive f.ck up by Messi's legal team, just send the burofax before the 10th of June if he claims he spoke with Bartomeu multiple times throughout the year about leaving in the summer.
best case scenario for RM anyway. worse and older team than last year, Messi will check out as usual in front of adversity. Koeman out in like December. And next year will be even better when Messi leaves for free. RM need to f.ck it up big time to lose the league against this Barcelona side.
Thats gonna happen for sure, with all this BS going on he has no chance. He has been in charge two weeks or whatever and whoever holds the power going forward it wont be him.
good chance messi is the difference between koeman getting fired in november and getting fired after the season imo. without messi they would have been incredibly ****ed. now theyre only normally ****ed
that said he was a complete disaster at valencia and werent that far from getting them relegated while at war with the players so im not that optimistic
How in god's name did Leverkussen manage to get less for Havertz than what Chelsea paid for Kepa? Whoever is doing the negotiating over there should be ashamed of themselves. Horrific.

It's incredible to me that Barca don't find a way to allow Bartomeu to resign and just not inherit the current debt. Anyone here know why this isn't a thing? You'd expect something akin to presidential war powers where standard procedure get's put aside due to the circumstances.

as i understand it it's actually spanish law that they have to put up a bank guarantee for 15% of the annual expenditure and something something they can lose that money

you have no idea what i'm talking about here? legit fake news?
you could just google it. barca are working on completely renovating the stadium and have been talking to goldman sachs about loaning the money through them. but no ownership or partnership
I've not kept myself in the loop, but wasn't there some kind of financial issue earlier in the summer?
Not really. The chairman did an interview in April saying that if PL football didn't resume the club would run out of money (in the bank) by August. Obviously the media reported this with their usual sensationalist headlines even though if the club's bank balance did reach zero it would still be in a better financial position than almost every other PL club.
