lol so this fool got Messi on that 10th of June technicality. but it's also a massive f.ck up by Messi's legal team, just send the burofax before the 10th of June if he claims he spoke with Bartomeu multiple times throughout the year about leaving in the summer.

best case scenario for RM anyway. worse and older team than last year, Messi will check out as usual in front of adversity. Koeman out in like December. And next year will be even better when Messi leaves for free. RM need to f.ck it up big time to lose the league against this Barcelona side.

It's incredible to me that Barca don't find a way to allow Bartomeu to resign and just not inherit the current debt. Anyone here know why this isn't a thing? You'd expect something akin to presidential war powers where standard procedure get's put aside due to the circumstances.

you could just google it. barca are working on completely renovating the stadium and have been talking to goldman sachs about loaning the money through them. but no ownership or partnership

Not really. The chairman did an interview in April saying that if PL football didn't resume the club would run out of money (in the bank) by August. Obviously the media reported this with their usual sensationalist headlines even though if the club's bank balance did reach zero it would still be in a better financial position than almost every other PL club.
