I want to play football, I am still motivated to play football, so I guess it's on the club. They are in control of everything. I have a contract, all I can do is carry on what I am doing and hopefully something comes up. I am only 31 still but I feel I am in great shape still and feel like I have a lot to give. We will see what happens. It's in the club's hands but they make things very difficult to be honest.

he is desperate to play football, but it's too late now. he can go play golf, we don't need him.

if theres one thing im sure of, is that hes not "desperate" to play football. Pretty sure he doesnt give a fk and happy to sit on his wages. Hes said before its just a job and he doesnt really like football hasnt he

Dont want to sell without getting a fee? Well thats all on madrid
Want him to take a paycut to join another team? well pay the difference.

Yes, he has done his cruciate (twice, I think). Loves a dive as well. Good player though.

We're being linked a lot with him too, don't get it at all given our budgets and general recruitment strategy, particularly given we need a CM replacement more than anything else right now having just gotten rid of Reed, Hojbjerg and Lemina.

yeah, so? you know we won the league title without him, right? you know RM still have one of the best teams itw, not to mention probably the best project for the future? that's not a fortune to RM, otherwise they would've let him go for free to China. you know RM will buy any player they want, regardless of Bale's salary, right? yeah, it's not optimal, but it doesn't change anything in RM's plans. so he can go ahead and relax.

Looks like Messi will stay for one more season to finish his contract. Probably a pretty sad last season considering Barca is getting rid of every decent player and keeping the Braithwaites

I agree, but I really hope we are hard asses in regards to the fee. If Ramsdale just went for 19m from relegated Bournemouth, we shouldn't even consider anything less than 25 for Martinez.

Camavinga is putting up generational numbers on the defensive end for his age. If his technical ability is even half of his defensive he'll be a beast.

No Sancho is tilting me. This ****tard Woodward obviously doesn't realise that we currently have a rare window with Barca being handcuffed due to Messi/Bartomeu and Madrid stuck with Bale/Hazard. Next summer Barca will have a new president looking to go hard in the market and if Hazard hasn't put down the burgers he's done too. 120m could end up looking like a bargain.

First things i like about Camavinga is the combo quickness/technical finesse, tbf i put little stock in defensive numbers and there's 0 chance he'll be a Kanté/Makelele/Matuidi type. Eyetest says lil'Pogba with rocketboosters.

The dumbest thing about being slow on transfers this year is that most foreign players will have to quarantine. If you sign a player today, they won't be able to even train before the start of the season. If you sign them on deadline day thats closer to late October before they can even train.
