20 LEGEND!

--

Yeah hopefully not, it worked against rangers but he seems to put too much power in it when he does that.

Doesn't look like any Man Utd players run into the box.l

was that the first time he did it? its the only one i can remember. the players probably knew that if somehow it was saved the ball would hit the keeper so hard they would be more likely to get the ricochet at midfield than in the box.

I thought that was Rooney's standard run up.

yes we dont stand a chance anymore because we werent able to break down an incredible solid utd side(defensively)
get real guys, our toughest league games are already behind us
Get your asses handed to you by all the good teams but run up the score like crazy against all the mediocre ones and then pray that this is your year that all the other good teams donk off a few more draws more than expected.

Arsenal gonna Boise State their way to the top.

one time? it's bound to happen sooner than later, and this is starting to look like "one of those years". we should have a better idea by Sunday though...

Im also certain he used that run up vs the Hammers earlier this year.
12-15-2010 , 12:03 AM
he didn't have that weird sideways hop til recently. thought he just started more to the side.
12-15-2010 , 12:35 AM
he's definitely done it this year. I almost commented here at the time when I first saw it. Looks like a really dumb way to run up to the ball, but then if he practices it, it shouldn't really matter much, right?

yep, blaming the run up and something he obviously feels comfortable with is pretty dumb. He missed it because he struck the ball wrong.

I dunno if you were being sarcastic or not but he does that basically every time now.

Wasn't being sarcastic, can't recall what he usually does but was pretty sure I remember seeing it a few times.

Manchester City are believed to be willing to sue skipper Carlos Tevez for about £50 million if he retires.

The 26-year-old forward recently slapped the club with a written transfer request, explaining that his "relationship with certain executives and individuals at the club has broken down and is now beyond repair".

However, the club turned away the player's plea to leave the Eastlands outfit, whilst pointing a finger at the Argentine's agent, Kia Joorabchian, for the saga.

Recently, there were reports suggesting that the former Boca Juniors man could quit football completely, and The Mirror claims that such a situation would see City taking Tevez and his representative to court over £50m.

Can City actually do that?

I see what you are getting at but it's a completely different situation?
12-15-2010 , 01:29 AM
Yeah but he actually used cocaine and other substances that "ruined" Fiorentina's image.
