I've checked the books and spreads and I can't find anything to give me a clue on the price btw. That's why I'm saying to make an offer.

I want to see what he offers as well and I’ll get to decide whether I want to take it or not. The days of flex betting for the sake of flex betting are long gone for me, but I’m willing to take up what may be a reasonable proposition depending on what DS proposes (I haven’t seen him do any angle shooting that I can remember, so I’m somewhat confident he’ll do something reasonable)

They're 1.2 on betfair exchange to finish in the top 10 so just flip it around and bottom 10 will be 5/1 ish

Although not much liquidity in the market so might not be accurate

Thanks for that. Have you got a link cos I couldn't see it on there?

I found it now it's 1.15/1.2 - that's not what I was hoping for so the offer is cancelled.

So united are 1.6/1.85 for top 6 and 1.15/1.2 for top 10. Mid point is like 1/2 for top 8 and I'm happy to lay a century for that if anyone is interested. That's Â£50 at 2/1 if anyone wants it. 8th or above, I win. 9th or lower, I lose.

Where's the fun in that? The exchanges pricing markets up early takes all the skill out of gambling. Just ask the uk-based poster that you're friendliest with to place the bet for you if you want to back at bookies odds. If you make an offer, I feel like you should include the price that you had in mind. It's only a non-binding starting point for negotiation.

While I've got your attention; it's would have/should have/could have not would of/should of/could of.
